A Ray of Hope provides an innovative solution to the increasing transitional care clinical challenges in post-acute settings, such as Skilled Nursing, In-Patient Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care Nursing, and Assisted Living Facilities.
At the Ray of Hope Center, we offer mediation services. Mediation is a voluntary process in which the parties to a dispute are aided in their settlement negotiation by a neutral third party called a mediator. The mediator does not have the power to impose a resolution. Rather, the role of the mediator and the goal of the process is to help the parties achieve their own resolution.
Mediation enables the parties to communicate perceptions, feelings, and information directly to one another in a controlled environment. This type of communication often reduces hostility and facilitates rational discussion.
Our Community based/ court-ordered education program is for individuals charged with DUI/OVI, Reckless Operation, Possession of Drugs & Paraphernalia, and Underage Consumption.
We provide pre-trial/ court-ordered evaluation and recommendation for all court-ordered services.
At a Ray of Hope, we only use evidence-based curriculum that is recognized by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). SAMHSA is a Federal Agency charged with improving the quality and availability of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Our education program is divided into four 2 hour session. It is critical that each individual understands their own history of drug use/abuse and how it has impacted their lives and decisions. Understanding patterns of behavior is a major component in the reduction of high-risk behavior.
Participants learn about the dangers of drugs, different drugs and their effects on mental cognition, damaging effects of short term and long term drug use.

DBT Skills Training Group
What is DBT?
DBT stands for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Developed by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D. and modified for adolescents, DBT Skills Training teaches life-long skills that can lead to an improved ability to cope with stress, better communication skills, greater acceptance of oneself and others, and healthier approaches to dealing with strong emotions.
Helping middle and high schoolers who…
Are emotionally sensitive
Have a difficult time calming down once upset
Anger easily and/or engage in impulsive behavior
Have high levels of anxiety.
Cut themselves or hurt themselves in other ways
Have difficulty developing and/or maintaining healthy peer relationships
Are still not doing well despite already being involved in therapy and/or taking medication
Need more support than individual therapy alone can provide
About this DBT Group
This is an 18-week curriculum and adolescents and parents must make a commitment to attend all sessions. Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotional Regulation, and Mindfulness will be taught and practiced. There will be handouts and homework. Some weeks will be for the youth alone and others with at least one parent present.
What is the referral process?
Parents/guardians should call (513) 409-3635 to schedule an appointment. At that time, your teen will be assessed for the group and any of your particular questions will be answered. Each adolescent must have an individual therapist.

Dialect Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an effective combination of cognitive and behavioral therapies. The goal of DBT is to transform negative thinking patterns and destructive behaviors into effective life experiences.
What you need to know:
•You will need to be seen by the therapist to determine the readiness to begin the class and to continue in the program
•Each 16-week class will be broken into four cycles
•Each cycle will cost $320 and must be paid at the start of each 4-week term
•There is a $175 non-refundable deposit that must be made to hold your place and will go toward your first $320 payment
•Individual sessions will be billed at $160 for the first visit and $80 for each thereafter

If commuting to and from one more appointment or finding childcare, parking having to tell someone at work “hey I need to head out for an appointment every week at this same time” may or may not be hard to explain.
We support busy professionals and busy families who are on the go with online and teletherapy. Our online video conferencing software is designed for our team so you have assured convenience, privacy and more importantly, HIPAA compliance.
Research displays teletherapy can be more effective than face-to-face therapy in certain situations.

Our Teletherapy counseling and coaching services can be provided via FaceTime, Zoom, or another similar method.
Teletherapy is especially helpful for college students who may need a few supporter sessions and people with busy travel schedules.
