“Dr. Mike” has served many clients/agencies since the 1980’s, having been a researcher, counselor, therapist supervisor, community MHC clinical director, workshop instructor, private practice owner, and independent behavioral health consultant. He has treated those from childhood to the elderly, tailoring services to meet one’s individual needs, using a BPSS (Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual) approach that is energetic, informative, and empowering. In 1983, he received his bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from the Univ. of Dayton. Dr. Gilmore’s numerous awards and honors include the Brian McConville MD Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Award (Cincinnati), the EY Williams Resident of Distinction Award and the Inaugural Resident of the Year Award (Morehouse School of Medicine).
